Mathematics
I finished my BSc at Simon Fraser University. I studied Mathematical Physics.
I finished my MSc at the University of Calgary. I studied differentiable manifolds, and their application to Hamiltonian mechanics and nonholonomic reduction.
I am currently working on my PhD at the University of Alberta. I am studying fluid dynamics. Specifically, I am interested in "particle laden" fluid flows. Herbert Huppert's article Going with the Flow is a great article on the topic!
Some current projects include Python WENO and Python BLAW.
Music
Since the spring of 2004 I haved played kit drums with Megan Emmett, Erin Ross, Three Hole Punch (thanks to Sam Skinner and Tamara Leigh for the good times), and Automata (Tomas de-Camino-Beck).
